**Salary** = 130-140K with annual bonus
Position Summary
The HR Business Manager acts as a strategic partner to facility and organizational leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive operational success. This role oversees all HR functions within a brand new manufacturing facility, including workforce planning, mass hiring strategy, employee relations, compliance, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
Note - this role will begin in Richardson area for training and transition to Fort Worth in mid 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
+ Partner with plant leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and growth.
+ Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
Employee Relations & Engagement
+ Serve as the primary contact for employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
+ Promote a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Policy Management
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
+ Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports for audits and leadership reviews.
Talent Acquisition & Development
+ Oversee recruitment strategies and planning for direct and indirect labor roles, ensuring timely and effective hiring.
+ Implement training and development programs to enhance workforce skills and leadership capabilities.
Performance Management
+ Drive performance appraisal processes and coach managers on goal setting and feedback.
+ Support succession planning and identify high-potential employees.
+ Analyze workforce data (turnover, absenteeism, productivity) and recommend actionable improvements.
What we are looking for (qualifications)
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
+ **Experience:** 8+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment (Must have experience with ramp/mass hiring).
+ **Certifications:** SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.
+ **Skills:**
+ Strong knowledge of labor laws and manufacturing compliance requirements.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
+ Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
