    About the role

     

    As a CBRE Facilities Consultant, you will lead all aspects of a variety of projects in support of the maintenance and repair program for a Life Sciences/ Manufacturing facility site in Durham, NC. This role will support the vendor management of GMP Janitorial Cleaning services along with other vendor support on the soft services side of the contract.

    What you’ll do

    + Coordinate soft services for all business units, large departments, or work groups. Establish specifications, solicit bids, negotiate, and participate in contract development.

    + Review and approve vendor contracts and specify terms of agreements.

    + Secure necessary operating supplies such as janitorial and maintenance.

    + Oversee various services such as maintenance, landscaping, snow/ice removal, and paving.

    + Point of contact for emergency situations and issues that occur during and outside of normal business hours.

    + Confirm company and client records are handled according to policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

    + Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

    + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

    + Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

    + Work within broad guidelines and policies in a pharmaceutical environment.

    What you’ll need

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    + Must hold experience with GMP Janitorial/ Cleaning Services.

    + Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

    + Willingness to take a fresh opinion on existing solutions. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, et
