BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced **Assistant Nurse Manager** to join our outstanding and compassionate team at **St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg** !

St. Anthony’s Hospital Behavioral Health Center, part of BayCare Health System, is a 50-bed inpatient psychiatric unit that offers 24-hour nursing care for adults dealing with behavioral disorders and addictions. Our experienced team is comprised of psychiatrists, social workers, registered nurses, case managers and mental health technicians. St. Anthony’s Hospital Behavioral Health Center is a Baker Act-receiving facility.

The Assistant Nurse Manager:

+ Is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills.

+ Is responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring , counseling and terminating process.

+ Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ RN (Registered Nurse)

+ Nurse Specialty - preferred

Required Education:

+ Bachelor's in Nursing

Experience:

+ 2 year RN in an Acute, Post-Acute, or Sub-Acute Setting

+ 1 year leadership experience
