Assistant Registrar for Academic Success

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILIES:
The Assistant Registrar ensures the accuracy and integrity of student academic records, oversees degree clearance, and supports academic operations through efficient, compliant, and student-focused processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Maintain and safeguard official academic records in compliance with FERPA, institutional policies, and professional standards.
+ Maintain a working knowledge of academic policies, catalog requirements, and curriculum regulations to ensure accurate and consistent application across student records.
+ Develop, support, and enhance online and in-person services that promote student persistence, access, and satisfaction.
+ Complete degree clearances for all graduating students.
+ Create and audit graduation evaluations; collaborate with students, faculty, and Advising to resolve outstanding requirements and ensure timely progress toward degree completion.
+ Partner with Student Life and other campus offices to support planning and execution of commencement activities.
+ Audit degree audits to determine accurate anticipated completion dates, contributing to institutional reporting, enrollment planning, and student support efforts.
+ Produce and process official transcripts and academic certifications for students, alumni, and external agencies.
+ Process Form 2s and other certification or licensure-related documents in accordance with state and institutional requirements.
+ Serve as required/requested on committees and/or planning groups.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and operations of the Office of the Registrar.
The estimated wage is $25.64 per hour for 37.5 hours per week for 52 weeks.
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree required
+ Experience in a Registrar's Office, Admissions, Enrollment Management, or related higher education area preferred
+ Knowledge of FERPA preferred.
+ Excellent writing and communication skills
+ Strong attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in records management and data handling.
+ Outstanding interpersonal and customer-service skills
+ Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience with Ellucian/Colleague preferred
+ Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft office products required.
