    How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

     

    The Co-op will be assigned to support Delta’s corporate DOT and Disabilities Compliance team regarding DOT regulatory programs. Co-op will report to the Manager of DOT and Disabilities Compliance.

    These include, but are not limited to:

    + Passenger Protections Regulations

    + Air Carrier Access Act

     

    The Co-op will assist the Manager in developing, maintaining and implementing Delta’s DOT and Disabilities programs in accordance with regulatory requirements and generally-accepted standards of good practice. The successful candidate will be joining an established program focused on accessible travel and supporting customers with disabilities while partnering across Delta to ensure compliance with government regulations and IATA requirements. This position supports the development of corporate-level policies related to all aspects of the Air Carrier Access Act & Delta’s Customer Commitment and strategy to advance accessible travel for customers with disabilities.

     

    This position is full-time (40 hours/week) and starts in Summer 2026. The co-op will complete the following 3 alternating rotations onsite in Atlanta, GA at Delta’s Corporate Headquarters.

     

    + Summer 2026 – 1st rotation

    + Spring 2027 – 2nd rotation

    + Fall 2027 - 3rd rotation

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    + Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at a four-year accredited institution

    + Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

    + Expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or later.

    + Available to work full-time for three alternating semesters: Summer 2026, Spring 2027, and Fall 2027

    + This co-op requires full-time commitment during work terms; students cannot take courses (online or in-person) while participating, which may extend graduation by 1–2 semesters.

    + Must be able to work onsite at Delta’s Atlanta, GA headquarters for the duration of the program.

    + Participation in this co-op does not guarantee a full-time position upon graduation; the role is designed to provide valuable educational and professional experience to prepare students for future careers.

    Applicants must also be able to:

    + Work with minimal supervision and direction

    + Balance multiple assignments

    + Handle confidential material appropriately

    + Demonstrate strong technical written and oral communication skills

    + Interact with internal and external, workgroups of all levels

    + Demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft applications including OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel, and have experience with other applicable internet applications

    + Function effectively in a fast-paced environment and short-notice situations

    + Have the ability to travel as some intermittent overnight domestic travel may be required

    + Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data

    + Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles

    Additional requirements:

    + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency

    + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

    What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

    + Work experience is not required for this entry level role; however, the ideal applicant will be a sophomore or junior actively pursuing and excelling in a degree program in Aviation Management or a related field, with a strong interest in gaining career experience through on-the-job training
