    What´s the role?

     

    This role is accountable for leading the financial strategy, advanced analysis, and long-term planning for the B2B commercial organization. The Senior Manager, Commercial Finance, oversees the development, enhancement, and governance of financial and operational models that guide executive decision-making across revenue, cost structures, inventory, OPEX, CAPEX, accruals, and key performance indicators. The position partners closely with senior commercial leaders and cross-functional executives to deliver accurate insights that strengthen efficiency, profitability, and sustainable business growth.

     

    How can you add value?

     

    + Provide strategic leadership in the development of budgets, forecasts, and scenario analyses, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance drivers within the B2B business.

    + Oversee and validate detailed analyses of revenue, costs, inventory, OPEX, CAPEX, accruals, and other critical financial metrics.

    + Lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of complex financial and operational models that support commercial and strategic decision-making.

    + Direct financial walks, reconciliations, and data validations to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment of reported results.

    + Develop and refine KPIs and commercial metrics relevant to the B2B business and industry (e.g., contribution margin, ARPU, churn, CCU, CCPU, subsidies, productivity).

    + Present monthly financial performance results, variance analyses, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

    + Drive strategic planning initiatives, including financial presentations, capital expenditure evaluations, new client and product assessments, and productivity analyses.

    + Partner with Accounting, Controllership, and the CFO organization to consolidate financial results and safeguard data integrity.

    + Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to financial processes, analytical methodologies, and reporting frameworks to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with executives and functional leaders, serving as a trusted financial advisor to influence commercial strategy.

    + Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to minimize financial and operational risk.

    + Demonstrate and ensure compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, as well as all Liberty PR and LLA policies, procedures, Code of Conduct, and safety standards.

    + Other functions that may be assigned.

     

    What do you need?

    Education and/or Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

     

    At least 8+ years of increasingly responsible experience in strategic finance or FP&A, preferably supporting B2B or highly matrixed commercial organizations.

    Other qualifications:

    + Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

    + Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

    + Proven experience in analyzing revenue, costs, inventory, OPEX, CAPEX, and accruals.

    + Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to provide clear insights.

    + Ability to work independently and lead strategic initiatives with minimal supervision.

    + Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
