• Sheet Metal Technician 2nd Shift (Bradley Park)

    Sheet Metal Technician 2 nd shift (3:30pm – 12am Monday – Friday) | $23 - $27 per hour + 15% shift differential| Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K with match

    Your Expertise:

    + 1-4 years of sheet metal, shop assembly experience

    + Ability to cross train to support all areas of Sheet Metal Assembly

    + Ability to lift heavy materials and tools

    + Must be able to read and interpret blueprints

    + Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to solve complex issues

    Your Challenge:

    + Utilize and interpret blueprints to determine how to where to fabricate, assemble and install sheet meatal products

    + Measure, mark dimensions and lay out materials to be installed using tools such as scribes, micrometers, Vernier, calipers, etc.

    + Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file and grind metal surfaces and joints of parts that have been assembled to ensure safety and seamless appearance.

    + Fasten details on aircraft and industrial engine components using rivets, fasteners, bolts, etc.

    Education Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

     

    This position is a safety sensitive position. Applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.
