    Job Description

    We are seeking dependable local CDL A Truck Drivers to join our team. You will be responsible for manually unloading and delivering various products, such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods, to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build strong relationships with each customer through a positive and friendly attitude, becoming familiar with their operations to meet their needs and expectations.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections of equipment.

    + Keep accurate records of hours of service using a mobile ELD.

    + Unload customer products using a pump jack and hand truck.

    + Utilize the Point of Delivery system to scan customer products during delivery.

    + Reconcile any product shortages or damages on customer invoices and the POD system.

    + Manage invoices, manifests, pick-up slips, and COD payments from customers.

    + Successfully pass driving and knowledge proficiency tests.

    Work Environment

     

    This role involves operating a Class A 53 Foot Refrigerated truck equipped with a lift gate, EPJ, and Dolly. Drivers must be able to move freight, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, and physically lift equipment up to 100 pounds. The work environment includes varying temperatures from seasonal heat to cold and refrigerated spaces, and may involve working outdoors in elements like precipitation and wind. The environment can be noisy with hazardous conditions, requiring close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
