Job Title: Shipping Processor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Processor with strong experience in warehouse operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing shipments, organizing the warehouse, and contributing to process improvements.

Responsibilities

+ Operate turret equipment for storing full pallets.

+ Examine incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.

+ Contribute ideas to improve warehousing procedures.

+ Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment daily.

+ Check, wrap, process, and load pallets throughout the day.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 3 years' experience in shipping, preferably in freight.

+ Proficiency in using forklifts.

+ Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

+ Ability to work on feet for 75% of the day.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in material handling and general labor.

+ Familiarity with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.

+ MHE experience is preferred but training is available.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse/distribution setting alongside 50-60 colleagues. The facility is a union shop with a dress code of jeans, polo or long sleeve shirts, and steel toe boots. Expect to work with heights of 60+ feet. The shift is Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential for overtime on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wappingers Falls, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
