Job Title: Process Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Process Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in all stages of mixing and processing various chemicals supporting diverse industries. This position requires a blend of general labor, chemical operation, and production work, with approximately 10% of your time spent operating a sit-down forklift.
First Shift- Hours are 10-6:30PM or 8am-4:30PM
Responsibilities
+ Participate in the mixing and processing of chemicals.
+ Operate a sit-down forklift for about 10% of the time.
+ Engage in heavy lifting and moving of large totes and drums weighing 50-75 lbs.
+ Ensure compliance with all GMP, OSHA, and EPA regulations, including using proper PPE.
+ Work collaboratively in a smaller team, requiring a team player mentality.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform assembly tasks.
+ Handle hazardous materials and manage hazardous waste disposal.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production and manufacturing, preferably in a GMP facility.
+ Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot.
+ Comfortable working around caustic chemicals, acids, and other hazardous materials.
+ Ability to work 60+ hours during the summer, which includes five 12-hour shifts.
+ Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma.
+ Experience in hazardous material handling and management.
+ Experience in cleanroom and sterile processing environments.

The work environment is well-ventilated and very clean, with some confined spaces. The position involves working in a facility that emphasizes safety and compliance with all regulations. The dress code requires appropriate PPE to ensure safety while handling chemicals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centralia, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
