    Job Title:** **CNC Swiss Machinist – ALL SHIFTS

     

    Pay: $25-40/hr

     

    _Flexibility in start times available. Some weeks may require 5–10 hours of overtime._

     

    **Machines:** Swiss CNC machines

    Responsibilities

    + Perform full setups and changeovers independently.

    + Run production batches ranging from 50 to 5,000 pieces.

    + Complete 2–10 setups per week.

    + Read and interpret defense blueprints and GD&T symbols.

    + Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and comparators.

    + Maintain tight tolerances down to **±0.0001 inch** .

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience setting up Swiss machines (Aerospace/Defense experience preferred).

    + Strong ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.

    + Skilled in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators).

    Work Environment

    + Small to medium-sized machine shop with ~20 employees.

    + Well-lit, organized, and clean facility in an older building.

    + Family-owned business with a strong reputation for quality—parts featured in the **Mars Rover** and multiple satellites.

    + Air-conditioned shop for a comfortable work setting.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
