Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will work with programming instructions, operational data, and machine setup instructions to perform operations such as bore, mill, drill, face, thread, profiling, and contouring. You will read, review, and interpret CNC program blueprints and drawings to ensure pieces are cut according to specific requirements and quality limits. Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workplace is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Check parts for conformance to specifications and record SPC (Statistical Process Control) data.

+ Perform highly complex CNC machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications requiring a high degree of skill.

+ Conduct advanced setup operations and set up machines for other operators.

+ Possess a broad knowledge of machining techniques and CNC machine tool operating procedures.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency with 3, 4, & 5 axis setups and light programming.

+ Experienced operator with the ability to troubleshoot.

+ Five to ten years of experience in a production or job shop environment.

+ Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints/engineering drawings and work order instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Machines and Machining Cell Systems in both horizontal and vertical variations.

+ Efficient setup experience.

+ Basic math skills.

+ Knowledge of aerospace metal forming of aluminum and stainless steel is preferred.

+ Experience with Haas, Mazuk, Toyoda machines, and CNC operations.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, exposed to loud noises and machinery with moving parts. The position is on a day shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Safety is paramount, and machinists must adhere to equipment safety rules and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and earplugs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kent, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $72800.00/yr.
