We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer I to join our team at the St Paul Tech Center. This role involves working 100% onsite to assist in development and sustaining engineering projects within the Electrophysiology division. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience and participate in engineering teams to complete development projects.
Responsibilities
+ Participate on engineering teams to complete development projects.
+ Lead small-scale design change efforts in support of continuation engineering activities.
+ Complete system analog, digital, and firmware designs.
+ Set and revise requirements and specifications for electrical circuits and systems.
+ Debug and test electrical circuits and systems.
+ Complete documentation to ensure feasibility and verifiability of performance.
+ Work cross-functionally, both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
+ Experience in circuit design, debugging, and testing.
+ Skills in electrical system design, firmware, analog design, and digital design.
+ 1-4 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Computer Science or Biomedical degree acceptable with EE experience.
+ Medical device experience is ideal but not required.
+ Internship experience is considered, but professional experience is preferred.
+ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with internship experience is acceptable.
Work Environment
The role is based at the St Paul Tech Center and requires onsite work. The work environment involves collaboration within engineering teams focused on development projects. The candidate must be a self-starter with a focus on troubleshooting and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of St Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
