Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Civil Team within a full-service A/E Firm, specializing in Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Civil projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to bring basic concepts and ideas to completion with minimal supervision, while working efficiently in a team-based environment. Responsibilities include site observation, field documentation, and analysis of existing sites.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct site feasibility studies.
+ Perform site and environmental analysis.
+ Develop schematic designs.
+ Coordinate engineering systems.
+ Perform site cost analysis.
+ Develop site design.
+ Prepare site construction documents.
+ Research specifications and materials.
+ Check and coordinate documents.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
+ 1-2 or more years of experience in site/civil design including authoritative codes and regulations, subsurface utilities design, site grading, storm sewer systems, and land disturbance permitting.
+ Possession or pursuit of EIT certification.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Desire to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
+ Experience in project management.

Work Environment
You will be working in a supportive and close-knit Civil Team environment at the office located in Ft. Wayne, IN. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a Civil Department Manager, with ample room for growth and development as both an engineer and project manager. The team handles a backlog of projects nationwide, providing a collaborative and engaging work atmosphere.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
