• Controls Engineer

    Description

    The Controls Engineer will focus on supporting a Transmission Gear Program. Key responsibilities include:

     

    + Validate program capabilities using Siemens PLCs and CNC motion control systems

    + Commission new equipment and ensure proper functionality

    + Program and troubleshoot electrical systems

    + Actively participate in safety sign-offs and compliance checks

    + Verify equipment capabilities and performance

    + Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and coordinate meetings with Tier I suppliers

    Core Skills

    + PLC Programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley)

    + HMI Development

    + Controls Engineering

    + Robotics Integration

    + Electrical Troubleshooting

    + Automation Systems

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    Preferred:

    + 10+ years of experience in Controls Engineering

    + Extensive software programming experience (Siemens preferred)

    + Knowledge of international electrical and safety standards (UL, ISO, IEC)

    + Familiarity with internal/external safety processes (risk assessments, PSS, coordinated safety)

    + Experience with program delivery from cost study phase through launch

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
