• Front Desk Coordinator

    Robert Half Office Team (Palo Alto, CA)


    Description We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Palo Alto, California. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring attentive and efficient interactions. This part-time position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and assist visitors and clients in a friendly and attentive manner.

    • Manage a multi-line phone system, including answering inbound calls and directing them appropriately.

    • Provide concierge services to meet the needs of guests and staff.

    • Handle switchboard operations efficiently, managing phone lines ranging from 1 to 10.

    • Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.

    • Coordinate scheduling and appointments as needed.

    • Respond promptly to inquiries and provide accurate information.

    • Support administrative tasks and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

    • Uphold company standards and maintain confidentiality in all interactions. Requirements • Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles.

    • Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.

    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    • Familiarity with concierge services is a plus.
