Responsibilities

+ Implement security controls for a COTS Enterprise Asset Management software

+ Prepare systems security documentation for all system changes and upgrades; work closely with customer, operations team management, and other Information Assurance personnel to guide paperwork through approval process, and maintain configuration baseline of approved implementation

+ Identify, report, monitor, manage, and properly remediate all system security vulnerabilities and infractions.

+ Apply security expertise to Government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.

+ Perform analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.

+ Provide integration and implementation of computer system security solutions

+ Perform and/or support risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.

+ Originate and manage all application software security documentation through applicable Department change and configuration management boards.

+ Ensure that all information systems are functional and secured according to approved Department configuration baselines.

+ Support all Department Information Assurance requirement efforts.

+ Perform related tasks and other duties as assigned by the System Program Manager.

Qualifications

+ Three to five years of direct experience is preferred.

+ Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

+ Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.

+ Dependable, great attitude and team player.

+ Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

+ Security Clearance – minimum Interim DoD Secret clearance with eligibility to receive a DoD Top Secret clearance.

+ Hybrid schedule with 3 days on site in Alexandria/Kingstown, VA.
