About the role Warehouse Person Lead plays a key role in organizing departmental operations to ensure efficient product flow, optimal labor utilization, and adherence to quality standards. This position supports the Department Supervisor in guiding warehouse staff, monitoring workflow, training team members, and maintaining equipment operations. The Lead will operate equipment and perform labor functions as required to achieve operational goals. Responsibilities Achieve daily production requirements, including quantities, hot orders, and turn demand, as directed by the Department Supervisor and/or daily reporting tools. Meet all internal and external customer requirements in accordance with customer specifications and/or instructions from the Department Supervisor. Assess and report accurate data on quantities, productivity, and labor needs in a daily basis. Maintain flexibility throughout the workday to adjust priorities, reassign employees, and refocus efforts to meet immediate objectives. Conduct or participate in start-up meetings to communicate production schedules, task assignments, company updates, and related information to the team. Maintain and monitor accurate break and lunch schedules for all departmental employees, ensuring compliance each day. Ensure accurate recording of product information and movement using scanning equipment or other tracking systems. Ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment by employees, in accordance with company guidelines and safety practices. Monitor and maintain employee productivity standards using system reports and direct observation. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Has or will possess advanced abilities in and knowledge of all duties outlined above, and the ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing Must have excellent sight, hearing and verbal communication skills both in person and on the telephone, along with the eye, hand and body coordination necessary to efficiently operate all equipment within the department Must be able to physically lift 40 pounds, walk from location to location, sit, stand, bend stoop, push, pull, reach and/or climb on concrete floors throughout the workday.
