    Administrative Specialist

     

    North Country is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Specialist to support our company-wide procurement operations, RMA/returns processing, inventory management, shipping/receiving, and general administrative functions. This role requires strong customer service, accuracy, problem-solving, and professional communication with internal teams and external suppliers.

     

    This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule upon successful completion of the training period.

     

    What You’ll Be Doing

     

    + Provide excellent internal and external customer service

    + Create and submit purchase orders

    + Communicate updates, delays, and discrepancies

    + Confirm pricing, shipping details, part accuracy, and delivery timelines with vendors.

    + Process all returns

    + Track return statuses, credits, replacements, and required follow-up with vendors.

    + Build and maintain professional working relationships with approved vendors.

    + Perform shipping and receiving functions in office as applicable.

    + Accurately complete monthly inventory evaluations

     

    What We’re Looking For

     

    + 2+ years of experience in administrative support, procurement, inventory control, or vendor relations (preferred but not required).

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).

    + Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external clients in both written and verbal form.

    + Strong problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

    + Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
