    1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN)

     

    Start Date: ASAP (Dec 15) | Duration: Through 2025–26 School Year

     

    Schedule: Mon–Fri, 11:45 AM–3:15 PM | Hours: 18 hrs/week

    Highlights:

    + Exclusive Opportunity: Work directly with a 9-year-old male student requiring individualized care in a supportive school environment.

    + Collaborative Setting: Partner with school staff and Amergis Healthcare team to ensure safe, compassionate care.

    + Impactful Role: Help a student with TBI and mobility challenges participate in school activities.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide 1:1 nursing care per physician orders and district standards.

    + Assist with wheelchair mobility and diaper changes every 2–3 hours.

    + Monitor student’s health and safety during school hours.

    Requirements:

    + Active RN license in North Carolina.

    + School nursing or pediatric experience preferred.

    + CPR certification and compliance with all credentialing requirements (TB screening, health certificate, fingerprinting).
