THE OPPORTUNITY
The Team Member Engagement position is instrumental in influencing Banc of California’s workplace culture by creating and assisting with programs, initiatives, and events that foster an engaging environment where all employees feel appreciated and inspired to help drive the bank's success. This role leads team member engagement activities and provides support in HR communications to enhance brand awareness. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
+ Reports to the SVP, Talent Development Manager, on designing and implementing employee engagement initiatives that support the bank’s strategy and culture, such as recognition programs, team building, and awards.
+ Develops internal communications to showcase engagement initiatives, achievements, and success stories in collaboration with Corporate Communications and HR Banc on People Newsletter.
+ Maintains clear team communication and serves as a brand ambassador.
+ Conducts employee surveys to assess engagement, workplace satisfaction, and identify improvement areas.
+ Leads focus groups to develop tailored engagement plans that enhance morale and productivity.
+ Plans company-wide events to enhance team community and belonging.
+ Develops and sustains effective relationships with the IDEA Council, Site Leader Council, and HR Leadership Team to support coordinated engagement efforts.
+ Maintain and manage event reporting, progress, and results.
+ Manage special projects assigned by the SVP, Talent Development and/or EVP, Talent Strategy.

+ Performs the position safely, without endangering health or safety to themselves or others and will be expected to report potentially unsafe conditions. The employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to the OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to one’s own actions and conduct.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Communication, or related field and two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Self-motivated with energy and initiative
+ Able to present ideas clearly and achieve consensus
+ Proactive team player focused on results
+ Effective presenter in group or one-on-one settings
+ Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
+ Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
+ Capable of influencing and implementing change
+ Works independently with minimal supervision
+ Valid California driver’s license and insured vehicle if driving is needed
+ Willing and able to travel and attend meetings outside normal hours as required

SALARY RANGE
The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
