Our client is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their team.

_Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

Rate: $69 - $75 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain modern, highly available and scalable interfaces to our next generation platform, laying a path that will span decades into the future. You will have the opportunity to share your technical knowledge to help strengthen our engineering community and further pursue your own learning of new technologies and platforms.

Experience Requirements:

+ 7+ years of hands-on software/cloud development and engineering experience.

+ 5+ years of experience working in sophisticated architectural designs and technology initiatives.

+ 3+ years’ experience working in agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban).

+ 3+ years of experience in Test Driven Development.

+ REST API development using NodeJS, JAVA.

+ Event Driven application design and development applying KAFKA.

+ Database development using PL/SQL for Oracle.

+ API Gateway publishing with APIGEE/Stratum.

+ Application development on Public Cloud – e.g., AWS (Serverless (Lambda), EKS, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, Dynamo).

+ DevOps CI/CD tools like Jenkins/ Jenkins Core, uDeploy, Concourse, TerraForm.

+ Containerization technology like Docker.

Education Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering.

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
