Collision Center Shop Assistant Job Summary: Toyota of Irving is seeking a motivated and reliable Shop Assistant to support the daily operations of our Collision Center. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, ensuring that our technicians have the tools and environment needed to provide outstanding service to our customers. Key Responsibilities: * Pick up and properly dispose of trash throughout the shop. * Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of the shop floor and common areas. * Empty and manage sheet metal, cardboard, and other recyclables in designated bins. * Organize, clean, and restock shop tools, equipment, and supplies. * Ensure all hazardous materials are handled and disposed of according to safety regulations. * Maintain a safe and tidy work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards. Requirements: * Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs regularly. * Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. * Basic knowledge of shop tools and equipment is preferred but not required. * Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. * Previous experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or collision center environment is a plus. * Must be punctual and dependable.
