As a **Security Professional - Armed Retail Patrol Driver** in **South Houston, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols at a retail location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with the public and respond to incidents as needed, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor for potential threats or unusual activity while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

+ Complete incident reports and document observations as required by site protocols.

+ Interact professionally with the public, employees, and/or law enforcement as necessary.

+ Comply with all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training related to armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.

+ Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Have a Level III armed certification if located in Texas.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
