    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled machine operators to work on various production lines and areas of the production floor. The primary focus will be on filling, packaging, and some mixing lines, which are mostly automated. The role includes machine operation, assisting with setups and changeovers, packaging, gathering raw materials, unclogging jams, checking production reports, and assisting on different lines where needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and assist with setups and changeovers on production lines.

    + Perform packaging, gathering raw materials, and unclog jams.

    + Check production reports and assist in various line operations.

    + Operate a forklift as needed to move items or gather products.

    + Stage skids, package, and build orders.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in machine operating.

    + Proficiency in machine operation and general production processes.

    + Flexibility to assist in various roles as needed.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bilingual abilities are a plus.

    + Experience with forklift operations, hand tools, and power tools.

    The work environment is not climate controlled, so it can be hot during the summer and cooler during the winter. Large fans are used, but temperatures can be warmer in the summer.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
