Northern Dutchess Hospital is an 84-bed hospital located in picturesque Rhinebeck, New York. We are leaders in the Hudson Valley for maternity and orthopedic excellence and provide award-winning care in a wide range of specialties, from cancer and heart disease prevention to bariatric surgery and healthy aging services.

*Summary of Job Purpose:*

* To protect life and property and perform tasks with limited Supervision.

*Job Qualifications:*

* High School Graduate or Equivalent, NYS Security Certification, NYS Drivers License.

* Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

* Licensure/Registration/Certification: NYS Security Guard License (at a minimum, must have completed the 8 hour training course and submitted application for license), NYS Drivers License.

* Work Experience: Law Enforcement or Security Background.

*Working Conditions*

* Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity

* Occupational: Some occupational risk

* Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force

* Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
