Job Overview

Fairview is looking for a Cardiovascular RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN. This position is **80** hours per two weeks on the **Day** shift (8am - 4:30pm) with flexible start and end times, on call 1 day a week and 1 weekend a month (must live within 30 minutes from Hospital).

Responsibilities

+ Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.

+ Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.

+ Utilizes nursing process by assessing, implementing and evaluating care given to assigned patients.

+ Communicates accurately and effectively with patient/family and healthcare members regarding plan of care, nursing interventions and patient information

+ Coordinates care with physicians. Directs, coordinates and acts as a liaison for other health care personnel.

+ Manages and supervises other unit personnel as needed.

+ Assumes charge nurse responsibility as assigned.

Required Qualifications

+ Associates Degree in Nursing

+ 2 years Critical Care Experience

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Assoc)

+ Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

+ MN Registered Nurse (RN) License

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelors Degree in Nursing

+ Cardiac Critical Care experience

+ Previous Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience

+ Electrophysiology experience
