    Job Title: Electrical Estimator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Cost Consultant/Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will use Excel for pricing and perform takeoffs using BlueBeam or 3D modeling software. This role involves leading a team of 6-8 estimators and requires excellent communication skills to engage with all stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop budget estimates by performing accurate quantity take-offs using plans, specifications, or conceptual information.

    + Review, interpret, and accurately estimate the scope of assigned work as described in the project documents.

    + Apply unit costs and productivity rates as provided.

    + Solicit and collect subcontractor and vendor bids or quotations.

    + Develop and nurture relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

    + Prepare subcontractor analysis sheets for assigned scope of work.

    + Evaluate changes and subcontractor change order estimates.

    + Provide expertise in all phases of construction work.

    + Perform other duties reasonably associated with the essential functions and additional duties assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating within semiconductor construction.

    + Strong proficiency in Excel, particularly in a fast-paced, high-volume commercial construction environment.

    + Intermediate knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.

    + Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Electrical experience preferred.

    + Small wires experience such as camera, telecom, and life safety is a bonus.

    + Knowledge of On Screen Takeoff and Success Estimating Software is a plus.

    The position is based onsite in the office of a heavy manufacturing facility. You will be part of a collaborative team of 7-10 professionals supporting semiconductor construction projects.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $64.90/hr.
