    Description

    Title: Accounting Specialist

     

    Compensation: $65K-$80K

     

    We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a law firm or services environment. This is a dynamic role that combines hands-on accounting execution with strategic financial oversight. If you are detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we want to hear from you!

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage accounts payable, reconciliations, and assist with general accounting

    + Prepare monthly and annual financial statements

    + Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

    + Handle tax planning, 1099 reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP/FASB

    + Maintain relationships with banks, vendors, and financial partners

    + Assist with financial policies, audits, and compliance reporting

    Requirements

    + 3+ years of accounting/finance experience (law firm or services industry strongly preferred)

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)

    + Knowledge of trust accounting a plus

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word; experience with legal accounting software (TABS or similar) is a plus
