UPMC Shadyside is hiring a Full-Time Diagnostic Technologist to support our Operating Room team! In this dynamic role, you'll work rotating daylight shifts Monday-Friday (with one Saturday a month, call, and 2-3 holidays). What You'll Do

+ Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the OR using established protocols and independent judgment.

+ Accurately identify patients, review physician orders, and document imaging data.

+ Collaborate with surgeons and technologists to ensure safe, efficient imaging support during procedures.

+ Maintain equipment readiness and follow all safety and radiation standards.

+ Provide compassionate, clear communication to patients and colleagues to ensure comfort and understanding.

+ Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.

+ Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist.

+ Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date.

+ CPR or BLS Required.

+ ARRT Certificate.
