UPMC Shadyside is hiring a Full-Time Diagnostic Technologist to support our dedicated Radiology team during the 11 PM - 7:30 AM shift, with rotating weekends and 2-3 holidays per year - and no call requirements! What You'll Do

+ Perform diagnostic radiography procedures independently, following established protocols.

+ Verify patient identity, review orders, and document clinical information accurately.

+ Administer oral or rectal contrast per physician orders and departmental policies.

+ Ensure exams are properly coded, archived, and processed in all imaging systems.

+ Interact with patients and team members respectfully and empathetically, maintaining a focus on quality and safety.

+ Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and ease concerns.

+ Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.

+ Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date.

+ CPR or BLS Required.
