    CHMC- Emergency Room RN- Per Diem- Night Shift- 12 Hour Shifts-Requisition 9031

     

    Pay Range: $52.27-$58.43*

    Job Summary:

    As a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide comprehensive nursing services for unstable patients of all ages who require continuous surveillance. You'll use your critical thinking, technical skills, and a holistic approach to deliver purposeful and effective care during life-threatening events. Your strong interpersonal skills will also be vital in managing crises and supporting patients and their families.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + Current NYS RN license.

    + One and a half years of medical-surgical nursing experience or similar acute care background.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of growth and development across the life span, with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize care plans and delivery.

    + Prior nursing experience in an intensive care setting is preferred.

    + Required within specified timeframes post-hire/start date:

    + Successful completion of the CHMC Chemotherapy course within 1 year of hire.

    + Successful completion of PMCS within 6 months of position start date.

    + Successful completion of an approved critical care course and ACLS within one year of position start date.
