Job description
2nd shift position.
• Coordinate warehouse activities, and train warehouse personnel to ensure well-coordinated shipping, kitting receiving and inventory control plan.
• Ensure that customer units, parts and repairs are received and shipped in an efficient and timely manner; ensure that parts and repairs are properly inventoried.
• Ensure physical inventory consistency and accuracy monitoring with virtual inventory in the ERP.
• Maintains accurate work instructions and procedures for present job duties.

Essential Job Functions
• Manage supply chain and inventory control including: inbound freight, warehousing, order fulfillment, tagging & packing, distribution, and outbound freight to customers.
• Manage inventory layout, cycle count and physical inventory as per company requirement
• Work with the team to design and implement an optimal logistics plan to ensure most efficient processes for supply chain and inventory controls
• Develop, monitor and evaluate performance standards for effectiveness and efficiency in all areas of the warehouse including: optimal space utilization, schedule and coordination of goods in and out
• Strictly adhere to US and International Trade Compliance laws and regulations.
• Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as Quality, Customer service, Production, Master Planning and Purchasing.
• Establish and report warehouse productivity KPI's on a daily basis in regard to order fill rates, receiving rates, on time delivery, shipping errors, receiving hold log.
• Eliminate waste and implements 5S and other Lean activities.
• Develop cost-saving initiatives through optimizing logistics processes, evaluating flow and monitoring shipping material usage.
• Ensure that all appropriate safety regulations are being followed both with regards to personal safety and safety of inventory.
• Plan all warehouse resources and activities in keeping with the company's object

• Understanding of Logistics requirements and methodologies (Incoterms, 2PL, 3PL, Import/Export regulation, HTS, Schedule B, HazMat handling/marking)
• Experience applying Lean and Continuous Improvement ideas
• Proven expertise at achieving and sustaining internal & external customer satisfaction
• Understand and apply safety standards consistently
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Office, SharePoint and SAP
