    Description

    The **Fonoudi Laboratory** in the Department of Pediatrics at **Emory University School of Medicine** is seeking a highly motivated and creative **Postdoctoral Research Fellow** to join our growing team. Our lab focuses on developing advanced human cardiac organoid systems to uncover the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying congenital and acquired cardiovascular diseases.

    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of stem cell biology, cardiovascular development, and translational disease modeling using cutting-edge technologies such as:

    + Human iPSC culture and directed cardiac differentiation

    + Multicellular cardiac organoid engineering

    + 3D bioprinting

    + CRISPR-based genome editing

    + Single-cell transcriptomics and spatial omics

    + Advanced imaging and quantitative image analysis

    + Functional assays for cardiac physiology and cell–cell interactions

    Qualifications:

    + PhD or MD/PhD in stem cell biology, developmental biology, bioengineering, cardiovascular biology, or a related field

    + Strong track record of research productivity

    + Experience with iPSCs, organoids, 3D bioprinting, CRISPR-based genome editing or cardiac biology is highly desirable

    + Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
