    DESCRIPTION

    We are looking for a talented **Health, Safety and Environmental Tech - Level III – OFFC** to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Cummins Inc. facility in Forest Park, GA.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    + **Drive HSE Culture** : Promote health, safety, and environmental awareness across the site, ensuring it becomes an integral part of daily operations.

    + **Identify and Close Gaps** : Analyze corporate and local HSE policies to pinpoint compliance gaps and support corrective actions.

    + **Enhance Risk Management** : Assist in hazard identification, incident investigations, and risk assessments to reduce workplace risks.

    + **Support Continuous Improvement** : Gather and analyze HSE data to identify trends and recommend proactive improvements.

    + **Ensure Regulatory Compliance** : Help maintain local HSE policies and procedures aligned with legal and corporate requirements.

    + **Strengthen Emergency Preparedness** : Contribute to emergency response planning and readiness activities for site safety.

    + **Foster Engagement** : Participate in employee engagement initiatives to build an interdependent safety culture.

    + **Enable Effective Communication** : Provide clear guidance and reporting support to ensure timely and accurate incident documentation.

    + **Investigate and Analyze Incidents** : Conduct thorough evidence-based investigations with accurate root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve reporting quality.

    + **Apply HSE Management Systems** : Interpret international standards and integrate them into practical site operations to maintain compliance and achieve certifications.

    + **Perform Risk Assessments** : Use hazard identification and risk evaluation techniques to prioritize and implement control measures that minimize risk effectively.

    Education/Experience

    + High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

    + A two-year University degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or related field preferred.

    + Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in health, safety, and environment.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Additional Information

    + Documents and maintain departmental policies and procedures.

    + Participates as team member on departmental related business improvement assignments.

    + Coordinates with facilities management to schedule work and projects for assigned facility.

    + Performs other routine administrative activities as needed per the established procedures of the organization and/or department.

    + Will support onboarding for all employees (contingent & CMI)

    + Will support on boarding for contractors.

    + Will support Facility needs for the site.

    + Will support/lead warehouse “walk with purpose” efforts.

    + Will support managing HSE A3

    + Will lead “Goals & Objectives” plan for the site.

    + Will support documentation in Enablon.
