Assembly Technician

Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as a Assembly Technician:

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed assembly instructions to determine assembly sequence and required components

+ Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components for dental chairs and cabinets using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fixtures

+ Position, align, and fasten parts and subassemblies accurately to specifications

+ Conduct quality control checks and functional tests on finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards

+ Identify and report any problems with quality, processes, materials, or equipment to the supervisor or engineering department

+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures

+ Assist with inventory management by tracking component usage and reporting material shortages

+ Collaborate with team members and engineers to troubleshoot assembly issues and support continuous improvement efforts

Job requirements:

+ Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably with medical devices, cabinetry, or complex mechanical systems

+ Technical Skills:

+ Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.)

+ Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints

+ Experience using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) is a plus

+ Soft Skills:

+ Strong attention to detail and high manual dexterity

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

+ Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-player attitude

+ Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation

+ Background check and drug screening required
