    **Are you passionate about health and wellness?** Are you eager to positively improve patients wellbeing? We are seeking a patient-centered, collaborative, and energetic individual to join our team as an Exercise Physiologist. In this role, you will perform ECG monitoring, educating patients on risk factors, exercise prescription, taking vitals, and assisting patients.

    + Schedule is M-W-F 8 am till 6 pm; T-TR 8 am till 4:30 pm

    + ACSM CEP or AACVPR CCRP certification preferred

     

    Overview

     

    **Memorial Hospital Belleville** is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care including Children’s at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. It provides patients a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services as well as heart and vascular care. Memorial, offering medical and surgical services plus critical care, is an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care and is designated as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital by the Illinois Department of Public Health. In addition, Memorial Belleville recently was accredited by the American College of Radiology as a designated Lung Cancer Screening Center. Since 2008, it has been designated as a Magnet®-recognized organization for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

    **Memorial Hospital Shiloh** , a 94-bed, all-private suite hospital was recognized with Magnet status in 2018 and provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services plus critical care.

     

    The Cardiac Rehab department provides outpatient services for Cardiac and Cardiopulmonary to include exercise and education.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Role Purpose

     

    Creates and implements exercise programs for cardiac rehabilitation and wellness participants. Performs professional and program development. Content includes but is not limited to strength conditioning, coordination, agility, core stabilization, weight management/weight loss, and lifestyle changes.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensures safe and appropriate exercise programs through design, implementation and management of the exercise programs to meet client needs

    + Provides and documents education and training to clients, family, staff and others directed toward achieving and ensuring optimal outcome viewed by the client.

    + Ensures program growth and development to continue to meet client's needs and expectations.
