The Quality Document Control Technician will ensure that the controlled documents are managed complying with ISO 13485:2016. The Quality Document Control Technician will make sure that document changes are completed and implemented following SG LS procedures. They will also track training for RDC’s and administer various clerical duties assigned to the Quality Department.
Quality Control - Document Control
+ Manage and control documentation updates, approvals, and final implementation phases.
+ Complete the implementation of the changes according to internal policies and procedures.
+ Perform Final Document Review and Quality Check on RDCs
+ File and archive documentation changes according to SOP Guidelines
+ Provides support to QMS events on an as needed basis.
+ Support training for the new or revised documentation.
+ Scan various records, reports, investigations, etc. according to SOP guidelines (Work Orders, Receiving Inspection records, ship hard copies to external vendor, etc.)D
+ ocument archiving, retrieval of documents, records storage, administration, and maintenance internally and third-party contractor. Maintain all process records and retain samples for manufacturing retention documents.
Quality Assurance Support
+ Supplier assessments with QE support.
+ Regulatory requests first point of contact.
+ Assists Engineers in Quality Audits providing support as needed.
Quality Control - QMS Maintenance
+ Manage the CO initiation process for all departments.
+ Verifying the accuracy and completeness of the CO documentation for closure.
+ Track CO movement. Ensure that the COs are moving through the system in a timely manner. Provide feedback aging CO’s. Tracking may also include CAPAs and Events when needed.
+ Support Planning/Scheduling/Customer Service to reprioritized orders past due.
Quality Control - Training & Competency Records
+ Perform New hire Quality Orientation and New Hire (Math, GDP & Gowning) training.
+ Support HR on training activities impacting the Quality management system, by generating missing training reports for the applicable areas and maintaining training electronic and hard copy files.
+ Assist engineers in ensuring training is completed and ensuring training documentation is completed according to SOP guidelines.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent - preferred
