Are you interested in helping Brands manage their manufacturing supply chains and meet regulatory and industry compliance standards? Transparency is a paid service for Brands, that offers unique serial codes to ensure that every item shipped to Amazon customers is authentic and accurate, proactively protecting the brand. The Transparency team is seeking a skilled and experienced Principal Product Manager-Technical (PMT) who is excited about leading innovation of our new value propositions in supply chain traceability and compliance, growth drivers of our future business.
To be successful in this role, you must have a high capacity for Ownership, Bias for Action and Learn and Be Curious. You must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, be an effective communicator, and be organized. Our business moves rapidly, and it’s important to be able to adapt to these changes while bringing relevant team members along the journey. You will have a high latitude on decision-making, and will work directly with engineering, business and operations stakeholders to define strategy and requirements, and then lead projects from design through delivery.
This is a global role that will include interaction with brands, tech teams, business development, operational teams, and stakeholders across US, EU, CN, IN, JP and AU.
Key job responsibilities
- Identifying customer and business opportunities and translating these opportunities into long-term vision and strategy.
- Owning a product roadmap end-to-end, from ideation, research, experimentation, and go-to-market.
- Partnering with engineering teams to build innovative products and influencing technical discussions and decisions.
- Managing prioritization, tradeoffs, and cross-functional communication, including presenting to senior leadership.
- Partnering with business development and marketing teams to translate ideas into great customer experiences.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
