    We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager with a strong background in managing projects on Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal/military installations. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in overseeing subcontractors, scheduling, quality control, and day-to-day field operations. Familiarity with base access requirements, security protocols, and military construction standards is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and oversee construction projects on military bases, ensuring compliance with military construction standards and protocols.

    + Implement and monitor safety programs in accordance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and other relevant safety regulations.

    + Supervise subcontractors and ensure quality control throughout various phases of construction, including building renovation, civil/site work, interior finishes, and mechanical/electrical trades.

    + Maintain effective communication with client representatives, subcontractors, and office staff to ensure project objectives are met.

    + Adapt to evolving site conditions and regulatory requirements to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in managing construction projects on DoD or federal/military installations.

    + Proficiency in construction software such as Procore for documentation, submittals, RFIs, and daily reporting.

    + Strong organizational skills to manage dual responsibilities without compromising quality or safety.

    + Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (mandatory).

    + EM 385-1-1 Safety Training or equivalent USACE/DoD construction safety training.

    + CPR/First Aid certification (recommended).

    + Relevant trade certifications such as Flagger or Forklift if handling equipment or traffic control on site.

    Work Environment

    This position is based on site at Kings Bay. The work environment involves active construction sites, requiring adherence to safety protocols and regulations. The role demands adaptability to changing site conditions and regulatory requirements. The company has been experiencing significant growth over the past three years and is on a trajectory for further expansion.

    This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
