We are looking for a collaborative Senior Traffic Engineer to join our Mid-Atlantic Advanced Mobility (AM) group of about 50 transportation planners, traffic/ITS engineers, and operations specialists with a wide variety of talent and experience. In this role, you’ll take a leading position in traffic studies, traffic signal design, plans, specifications, and estimate development for traffic and ITS improvements, as well as other traffic engineering tasks. You’ll also have opportunities to partner with our sales team to help expand our portfolio of projects with Maryland public agency transportation clients.
Joining our team, you’ll have the chance to apply your experience to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your ITS and traffic expertise to create innovative solutions.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
•Maryland Professional Engineering (PE) License, or ability to obtain one
•Experience leading the development of traffic studies, traffic signal design, plans, specifications, and estimates for traffic and ITS improvements for Maryland public agency clients
•Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for site visits
•Must be resourceful, curious, and self-directed
Ideally, Here’s What You’ll Also Have:
•Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
•Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) Certification
•Project and leadership experience
