Job Title: Electrical and Control Systems Technician** **Job Description

This role is integral to the efficient operation of existing electrical and control systems within a food production facility. The position supports daily production operations by troubleshooting and continuously improving operational software and control systems. You will collaborate closely with maintenance personnel and facility and corporate engineering teams to develop and implement improvement projects.

Responsibilities

+ Promote efficient operation of existing electrical and control systems.

+ Support daily production operations through troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

+ Collaborate with maintenance personnel and engineering teams to develop and implement improvement projects.

+ Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.

+ Enhance operational software and control systems.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of experience in PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting.

+ 1+ years of experience as a Controls/Automation Technician in a food manufacturing facility, manufacturing facility, or custom machine build company.

+ 1+ year of hands-on experience with PLC controls and logic circuits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in pneumatics and logic circuits.

+ Experience with fanuc systems.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic food production facility with a controlled environment, including dry and temperature-controlled areas as well as wet and humid areas depending on the product being processed. The role requires adherence to safety attire, including hair nets, beard nets, and boot coverings. Join a team with one controls technician on each shift, working alongside a dedicated maintenance team.

This is a Permanent position based out of Faribault, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

$250 referral bonus

Tuition reimbursement for relevant schooling/training to the field

For the Holiday Schedule all days listed are paid without needing to use any PTO. The plant shutdown varies each year based on when the holidays fall but it is always Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day is our shutdown time. President’s Day this year was our floating holiday so that is not always the same.

For the medical premiums the cost does drop for the following year if they do the biometric screen in October at our on-site wellness fair. That information is listed on page 13 in the benefit guide.

There is a wellness program that employees can earn anywhere from $75-$150 based on how many points they earn throughout the year and is paid out to them early January of the following year.

Fitness Club reimbursement program that after 8 visits in one calendar month we reimburse $20 to help with gym membership fees and we provide a discount on fitness tracking devices (fitbit) the company will pay up to $30 on your first purchase of a fitbit whether the purchase is made through the client or if the employee purchases one on their own.

Employees are eligible for all benefits at 60 days except 401K employees are eligible at 90 days.
