Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in the distribution of medical supplies. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of inbound, order picking, and outbound processes.

Responsibilities

+ Unload freight, verify against manifests, check for damage or infestation, report issues, and move shipments to storage.

+ Select correct products by lot, batch, or serial, transport using forklifts or pallet jacks, and prepare orders by labeling, wrapping, and palletizing.

+ Verify shipment details such as quantity, labels, and addresses, sign as needed, and load trailers or containers efficiently.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with cycle counts, ensure proper stock rotation, and enter necessary adjustments.

+ Perform additional duties such as repacking, repairing goods, operating shrink-wrap equipment, charging forklift batteries, sorting pallets, and cleaning docks and trailers.

Essential Skills

+ Material handling expertise

+ Proficiency in inventory management

+ Strong computer skills

+ Experience with order pulling, cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, RF scanners, and general warehouse tasks

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 3+ years of inventory experience

+ 3+ years of material handling experience

+ 3+ years of warehouse experience

Work Environment

You will work the first shift from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be required as needed. The position involves an 8-hour workday in a warehouse setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Missouri City, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
