Job Description

The position involves assisting in the assembly of metal stoves. Candidates will work on a line with co-workers, requiring good communication skills, and will assemble various types of stoves while reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the assembly of metal stoves.

+ Work collaboratively on a line with other co-workers.

+ Read and follow blueprints to assemble stoves.

+ Communicate effectively with team members.

Essential Skills

+ Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Good communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with machine operating or production is preferred.

+ Willingness to learn and be trained in the position.

Work Environment

The work environment requires wearing steel toe boots and is not climate controlled, so it can become hot in the summer. Protective eyewear will be provided if needed. The role offers the possibility of working 5 ten-hour days if business demands increase. The first shift operates Monday to Thursday with additional volunteer opportunities on Fridays, while the weekend shift runs Saturday and Sunday, capped at 19 hours. Shorts are allowed during the summer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Halifax, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
