    Job Title: Custodial Maintenance Worker** **Job Description

     

    The Custodial Maintenance Associate is an essential member of the maintenance team, primarily supporting maintenance technicians in maintaining and repairing production equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency throughout the facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Move and empty waste containers, recycling, and scrap materials.

    + Assist maintenance technicians with clean-up during and after projects.

    + Maintain general cleanliness of production walk paths and common areas.

    + Perform outdoor clean-up tasks, including snow and ice removal as needed.

    + Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts when required.

    + Replace light bulbs and perform minor facility upkeep tasks.

    + Unclog drains and assist with basic maintenance duties.

    + Support other facility-related tasks as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    + Ability to operate forklifts and aerial lifts (certification or willingness to obtain).

    + Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance tasks.

    + Strong attention to safety and detail.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Work Environment

    This position is based in a manufacturing facility setting, which includes exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. The role requires outdoor work during seasonal conditions, such as snow and ice removal.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Mankato, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
