Job Title: Paint Line Staging Technician** **Job Description

The Paint Line Staging Technician is responsible for safely hanging and positioning parts on a conveyor system to prepare them for painting. This role supports production efficiency and quality while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Safely hang and secure parts onto paint hooks or conveyor systems.

+ Maintain 90% run and setup efficiency without direct supervision.

+ Conduct visual inspections for defects or damage before and after hanging.

+ Maintain equipment and a clean work area.

+ Maximize equipment utilization and follow production schedules.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in racking, general labor, and production.

+ Proficiency in mechanical assembly and machine operation.

+ Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand tools.

+ Experience in packaging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

+ Willingness to stand for the entire shift with occasional sitting on a stool.

+ Flexibility to rotate assembly positions every 2 hours.

Work Environment

The manufacturing plant is not messy but not perfectly clean and requires standing for the entire day on an assembly line. The shop is air-conditioned but can get warmer due to the ovens. This is a tobacco-free environment since January 2015, requiring individuals to leave the property for smoking or chewing tobacco.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
