Job Title: CNC Mill Operator - Entry Level** **Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable CNC Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is perfect for individuals starting their careers in CNC operations. Initial training will take place on the first shift, transitioning to the third shift after the training period. This role is essential to our production, focusing primarily on loading and unloading machines with a strong emphasis on detail and reliability.
Responsibilities
+ Load and unload CNC machines efficiently and accurately.
+ Participate in a comprehensive training program on the first shift for approximately six months.
+ Transition to third shift operations post-training.
+ Utilize micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
+ Be punctual and maintain excellent attendance.
Essential Skills
+ At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing as a machine operator within the last 3-5 years.
+ Proficiency in reading micrometers and calipers.
+ Solid work history and a trainable attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with CNC mill and lathe operations is advantageous.
+ Familiarity with automated and manual grinding techniques.
+ Knowledge of Sheffield gauges and experience with Cincinnati and Norton machines is a plus.
+ Prior experience working third shift is beneficial.

Work Environment
This role operates within a clean and safety-prioritized manufacturing environment. The position follows a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule, with first shift hours from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, and third shift hours from 7:30pm to 6:00am, Sunday night through Wednesday night. Occasional overtime may be required based on production demands.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
