Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Description
+ This role involves maintaining and repairing various heavy machinery used in construction, landscaping, wood waste recycling, and tree care. You will handle maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydro-static, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and perform both reactive and preventative maintenance on dealership equipment, while accurately recording and documenting diagnoses and procedures performed on the equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain and repair heavy machinery used in construction and landscaping.
+ Perform maintenance on mechanical, hydro-static, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
+ Troubleshoot equipment issues and execute reactive and preventative maintenance.
+ Record and document all diagnoses and procedures performed on equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in diesel, hydraulics, troubleshooting, pneumatics, heavy equipment, welding, and electrical systems.
+ 3+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience.
+ Experienced with hydraulics, pneumatics, diesel equipment, and electrical systems.
+ Basic welding experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Advanced and master course training differentials available, typically at 1.5 years for advanced and 3-5 years for master.
+ 90-day certification opportunities available.
Work Environment
Work in a 7-bay open-door shop that is outdoors. Be prepared for varying weather conditions, as it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

This is a Permanent position based out of Pensacola, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
M/D/V and 401k with 4% match
ECOP- employee owned and vest company
Monthly 1-on-1's with annual reviews (based on performance but typically 3%)
Internal promotional opps- post internally first
Training differentials for advanced and master courses- advanced are normally at 1.5 years and master is at 3-5 years. they also do 90 day certs.
