CNC Mill Machinist

We’re looking for a CNC Mill Machinist who thrives in a fast-paced, job shop environment. With runs averaging 20–100 pieces, every day brings new challenges and opportunities to sharpen your skills.

Description

+ Transform raw materials into high-quality finished parts.

+ Set up and run multiple machines while optimizing CNC programs.

+ Ensure every part meets strict quality standards through inspection and testing.

+ Collaborate with engineering and leads to improve processes.

+ Mentor junior machinists and contribute to a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

+ Expert CNC setup and program editing skills.

+ Ability to distinguish and machine different materials (e.g., stainless steel grades).

+ Proficiency with metrology devices and blueprint interpretation.

+ OSHA safety training and commitment to safe practices.

**Work Environment:** Smaller shop, 22-person team, six new CNC machines, 1st shift schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Insurance is mostly paid for by M&R, but there are employee contributions also. We have 4 Aetna medical plans to choose from, 2 MetLife dental plans to choose from, vision, life and 401k. Medical prices range from as low as $31 contribution, all the way up to $350, depending on the selections. Dental range is from as low as $12 to $69, and Vision ranges from $3.50 to $12.50.
