    Job Title: 1st and 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The role involves reading electrical and mechanical drawings, testing fuses, resetting electrical overloads on motors, diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, and replacing electrical motors. You will also be responsible for the repair and replacement of various components such as shafts, gearboxes, belts, and bearings, and have basic knowledge of overhead hoists. Welding experience in ark, mig, tig, or flame cutting is required. The position also involves troubleshooting mechanical problems independently and performing preventative maintenance.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

    + Test fuses and reset electrical overloads on motors.

    + Diagnose and differentiate between electrical and mechanical problems.

    + Change out and correctly wire electrical motors.

    + Repair and replace shafts, gearboxes, belts, chains, sprockets, idler rollers, gears, guards, brakes, air and hydraulic cylinders, pumps, clutches, and bearings.

    + Utilize welding skills in ark, mig, tig, or flame cutting.

    + Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.

    + Troubleshoot mechanical problems independently.

    + Maintain and repair rewinding, folding, conveying, and packaging machinery and general factory equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.

    + Experience in repair and maintenance of equipment.

    + Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.

    + Proficiency with conveyor systems and preventative maintenance.

    + Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

    + Welding experience in ark, mig, tig, or flame cutting.

    + 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School diploma required.

    + Technical degree or related equivalent experience preferred.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Cudahy, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
